I saw this photo on Apartment Therapy and feel in love, had to make it. I needed something to do at night that didn't require a lot of light.  I was also gonna go on a road trip…I could take this along and work on it as we drove. This was a prefect project. Just needed to make it a little bigger to fit the bed.
Sounded logical but then I had to buy all the colors since I recently gave away my yarn (anything that wasn't wool) supply. And had to figure out the pattern, which is a round inside a square. Once that was done I was off, happily crocheting….haven't done this for many, many years.
I was about 50 squares in…road trip done, thrill of starting a new project over, when I asked myself "how many squares do I need to do? 192 ...really? What did I get myself into?

What I have so far.

Rusty Vintage

I have been working on oil and wax paintings all summer enjoying ever moment of painting. Letting myself be inspired by the Wisconsin countryside. I will post some pictures soon. Even through I haven't been print making this summer I have managed to  pick up a few rusty pieces. Yesterday on Homayoon's bike ride he found a gorgeous piece of rust and a beautiful feather, he was kind enough to bring it home for me . I can't wait to see what prints I can get out of it.

Does anyone know what this round thing was before it was rusted, ran over and left by the roadside?

Rusty Marks

We put the Rusty Marks show up yesterday!!! It will run till the end of August. If you are in the area please come have a look.

Mother Fool's Coffeehouse has a graffiti wall (you can see it on the side of the building)that they change up periodically , cool!

UPDATE: We went to the MFcoffeehouse today so my Mom and Dad could see the show when we got there the new graffiti wall was being painted by artist Bill Dollar. I love it!

While Adeeb was here to visit we went down to MF to see the show and to take pics of the finished graffiti wall.
